Inspired by an especially vibrant piece of madrone, this table combines midcentury modern and Arts & Crafts influences for a timeless result. The white oak base incorporates through tenons for graceful strength and hand-friendly spokeshaved edges. Breadboard ends with square oak pegs stabilize the madrone top and create eye-catching details at its edges.

The top is a lightly eased rectangle, with faceted half-oval edges and carved corners to ensure living room comfort. This piece welcomes every use with a satin oil finish.

Natural beetle holes were filled with beeswax rather than being plugged with wood, to remind us of the life and ecological role of the tree that provided us this beautiful material.
